I am presently employed at the Department of Digital Technology and Culture at Washington State University in the role of Graphic Designer and Student Outreach Representative. Our primary objective has been to revamp and establish a fresh visual identity system for the DTC department. This new identity aims to more effectively convey the essence of the DTC program and generate interest among prospective students.

I have contributed to this effort by co-developing a comprehensive style guide that outlines the new visual identity for DTC including color, logos, text design, and visual imagery. Additionally, I’ve designing banners and posters that have been displayed in public areas across the WSU campus. Bellow is my design contributions to the DTC department.

The visual identity of DTC was developed by drawing inspiration from imagery we curated, allowing us to develop a unique & cohesive style.

The resulting aesthetic is characterized by a primarily duotone color scheme, along with manipulating text elements through techniques like stacking, cutting, outlining, and repetition. It also incorporates dynamic line weights and clean geometric shapes.

This identity is designed to be modular—flexible enough to adapt to various contexts while maintaining a unified, core aesthetic that ties each design back to the DTC brand.
